Jackie obtained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology in 2007. She has over a decade of experience providing therapy, and has worked in numerous universities including Virginia Tech, The University of Georgia, and The University of North Georgia. She has also completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training, and is currently enrolled in a nutritional psychology certificate program.
Her approach to counseling is integrative and holistic, with an overarching goal of promoting wellness and increasing quality of life. She often integrates cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and mindfulness techniques into her practice, while weaving in other components from her training in yoga and nutritional psychology.
She strongly believes in establishing a collaborative relationship with her clients to enable working together to achieve goals. She has a passion for being creative in her therapeutic approach, and enjoys working with several presenting concerns including anxiety/stress, adjustment issues, depression, trauma, interpersonal concerns, self-esteem issues and eating disorders.

Veronica is the founder and owner of Atlanta Counseling and Wellness, LLC. She began her career in counseling in 2000 and founded ATLCW in 2004. Her training includes a master's degree in Counseling and Counselor Education from Indiana University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia.

Veronica was trained in EMDR over ten years ago and has been weaving EMDR and mindfulness techniques into her practice format. Veronica's previous counseling experience has made for a full spectrum of knowledge as she was a Certified Family Violence Intervention Provider and a State Certified Clinical Evaluator for substance abuse related treatment. Veronica has conducted anger management and substance abuse treatment groups as well as the family violence intervention groups. Veronica is also a National Board Certified Counselor.
Judy has been practicing therapy and social work in various settings for over 15 years and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2009, practicing in Georgia since 2012. Her training includes a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Chicago. She has extensive training in mindfulness-based and body-centered approaches to alleviate symptoms of stress and trauma.
Her experience includes providing intensive, therapeutic support to children, adults and families within the foster care system, residential settings, newly arrived refugee populations, and those adjusting to a new diagnosis/chronic condition for themselves or a loved one. She has extensive experience supervising students and clinical staff and has received formal training in Cognitively-Based Compassion Training and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
